Managed full FF&E design process documentation, implementation, and maintenance for all USA-based staff.
Improved and streamlined design & build process by utilizing a comprehensive understanding of construction technology and current building regulations to propose, source, and specify FF&E at all scales.
Led FF&E team in NYC office, representing decision making at management level through weekly review of staffing & resourcing, monthly billing & profitability, as well as quarterly finance meetings.

ASH NYC: DESIGN DIRECTOR - HOSPITALITY DESIGN
Managed internal architecture and FF&E design for the company’s hotel division. Overseeing the execution of the design vision with contractors, fabricators, and vendors with renovations of historic buildings. Responsibilities including execution of the design vision for architectural finishes, and all custom FF&E. As well as sourcing and logistics within project budget and schedule.
Responsible for managing and developing design team staff; including hiring, implementing office standards, instituting weekly presentations across disciplines, staffing + project scheduling, and contract development. In addition to executing Project schedule, and Quality Control Review.
Led coordination with development team from budget development through construction, acting as liaison with Design team and Hotel Operations team to ensure vision is prioritized at each step of the project. Instituting new pre-planning collaboration with all groups to establish ethos and priorities.
Projects include; DD and CA for 106 key, the Siren Hotel in Detroit, MI. Including Guestrooms, Lobby, and F&B spaces. DD and CA for 75 key, Hotel Peter & Paul in New Orleans- renovation of historic Church complex to include Guestrooms and Public Spaces. Concept Design, SD, Model Room set, and DD coordination with AOR and consultants for 104 key hotel in Baltimore, MD.

Managed Restaurant projects from Concept Design through construction. Responsibilities consisted of design presentations, client meetings, drawing set submissions, coordination with fabricators, finish selections, specialty feature design, on-site coordination of installations, and FF&E coordination.
Led development of Hotel Projects; contributions include 3d modeling; program studies; space planning and guestroom layout; FF&E and material selection; SD, DD, and Model Room drawings; consultant and fabricator coordination.
Projects include; 10,000 SF, 296 seat Las Vegas Restaurant; 11,000 SF, 310 seat Las Vegas restaurant; 2,000 SF, 75 seat Miami restaurant. Concept design for 200 key NYC hotel; hotel & co-working in Los Angeles; hotel in London; hotel in Corfu, Greece; hotel in Miami; hotel in Lisbon, Portugal.

Completed Concept design, SD, DD, and Filing including presentation drawings and 3D modeling. Lead development of market rate and affordable unit layouts and mix consisting of plan and consultant coordination for 400,000 SF, 430 unit residential building on the Upper West Side.
Completed Concept Design, SD, DD, Planning Set submission for 860,000 SF, 700 unit rental building in Jersey City. Responsible for unit layouts, contributed to building sections, elevations, and wall sections.
Managed Concept design, SD, DD, and Construction Documents for Amenity spaces of 216,000 SF, 75 unit residential condominium building in Weehawken, NJ. Responsibilities include developing renderings through detailed construction drawings.

Completed Construction coordination for 10,000 SF Restaurant and Event Space Maritime Parc in Jersey City. Contributions include furniture, millwork, lighting features, DD set, and Construction Documents.
Project manager for Restaurants La Mar in New York City and Table in Quebec City. Contributions include Concept Design, SD, and DD phases for furniture, millwork, lighting features, Filing, MEP Coordination and Construction Documents.
Contributed to Design Build of Private Art Gallery and Office for The Calder Foundation in Chelsea, New York City; Concept design, HVAC, plumbing, structural, electrical, lighting, millwork, and construction coordination.
